Information the website receives

Depending on the form you use, the website may receive:

• Your name and work email address.
• Your organization and the type of HR support you are considering.
• Information you choose to share about a business, people, or hiring challenge.
• Your email address when you request the HR Leadership Readiness Check.
• When you choose to start Olix, a random session identifier, the question and answer option IDs you select, and the recommendation generated from those selections.
• Limited technical information that hosting and security providers may receive when serving a page or processing a request, such as an IP address, browser information, timestamps, and security or error logs.

Olix does not accept free-text messages. Please do not submit sensitive employee, medical, financial, legal-matter, or identification data through any website form.

How the information is used

Information is used to provide the requested resource, respond to an inquiry, understand the support being requested, maintain appropriate business records, and protect the website from misuse.

Olix uses your selected answers to identify a relevant Desiderio HR service or educational resource and to generate a short, general recommendation. The session identifier may also be used to protect the service from misuse. Olix data is not used to make decisions about any employee, applicant, or other individual.

Requesting the readiness check does not, by itself, subscribe you to recurring marketing email. If that changes, the form and this notice should be updated before the change is introduced.

Hosting, forms, and AI processing

This website is configured to use Netlify for hosting and form processing. Netlify also runs the server-side function that validates Olix selections before an AI request is made. Netlify may process form submissions, Olix requests, and operational information as a service provider. You can review Netlify’s privacy statement for information about its practices.

Olix uses OpenAI’s API to generate its final recommendation. The browser sends only approved question and answer IDs to the server. After validating that path, the server sends the approved question text, selected option labels, recommendation context, and a random session identifier needed to produce and protect that request; the OpenAI API key is never sent to the browser. OpenAI may process this information as a service provider. You can review OpenAI’s privacy policy and applicable API data-control information for details about its practices.

Olix session storage and your choice to start

Olix is optional. Opening the assistant does not send a request to OpenAI. You must select “Start guided conversation” before a session begins and before any Olix selections can be processed by the server.

During a session, the selection path and recommendation are held in the current browser page’s memory. Olix does not use cookies or browser local storage for the conversation. Ending the session, one minute of inactivity, closing the page, or reloading the page clears that in-browser session.

Desiderio HR does not intentionally save an Olix conversation transcript in a database or use it for advertising. Service providers may retain limited request or operational data under their own terms and policies, including for security and abuse monitoring. The one-minute browser timeout does not mean that provider-held logs are immediately deleted.

Cookies, advertising, and sale of information

The current website does not use advertising trackers or analytics cookies, and Olix does not set cookies. Desiderio HR does not sell website or Olix information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or use it to build advertising profiles. If cookies, analytics, or advertising tools are added, this notice and any required consent controls will be updated before they are introduced.

Retention and disclosure

Form information is kept only as long as reasonably needed to respond, provide a requested resource, maintain appropriate business records, or meet legal obligations. It may be disclosed to service providers supporting the website or when required by law.

Desiderio HR does not maintain a persistent Olix transcript. Provider processing and retention may still apply as described above. Information may also be preserved or disclosed when reasonably necessary to protect the website, users, or legal rights, or when required by law.

Important limits of Olix

Olix provides general business and educational information only. Its recommendations are not legal advice, professional advice about a particular employee matter, or a substitute for qualified counsel. Olix does not make hiring, employment, eligibility, disciplinary, termination, or other decisions about individuals.

Using Olix does not create a client, consulting, employment, fiduciary, or attorney-client relationship with Desiderio Human Resources. A professional engagement begins only through a separate written agreement.

Your choices and privacy requests

To ask how information was handled or request access, correction, or deletion, use the Desiderio HR contact form. Write “Privacy request” at the beginning of the message and identify the relevant form or approximate Olix session date. Do not include sensitive personal information. Some requests may require identity verification or may be limited by legal and record-keeping obligations.

Updates to this notice

This page may be updated when the website, its forms, or its service providers change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
